Parent Resources

  • Northwest Community Schools is now offering an electronic payment option through an online service called “eFunds for Schools.” This feature is currently available for High School Challenge Day Donations,  Child Care Tuition payments, limited school activity fees and School Lunch Program Debit accounts. Click on the eFunds image to create your user account for your student(s) in your family.

When creating your eFunds account you can locate your student by family number or by the student's ID number. The family number is the home phone number (with area code), which is on file with the district.

If you have questions concerning this, please contact the Business Office at 517-817-4710 or by email to
emili.jones@nwschools.org. Hopefully, you will find this option to be a very efficient method to make payments.
Click HERE for instructions on creating your new PowerSchool account. If you have any problems with the account creation process, contact the school office.

    Parent’s Right to Know
Northwest Community School District supports every parent’s right to know the particular teacher qualifications of his/her child’s teacher (s). The district must notify parents of the “Right to Know” provision. Northwest Community School’s does not hire teachers or paraprofessionals that are not highly qualified. However, if your child is taught by a professional that is not highly qualified for four or more weeks, the District will provide you with a written notification.

If you would like more information about highly qualified teachers please visit the MDE web site.
