Northwest High School Team Takes Third Place at CEO Challenge!
Congratulations to the Northwest High School CEO Challenge team of Mathew and John Horvath Frias! The brothers captured the $250 third-place prize with their innovative product, Chef Sync, at this year's CEO Challenge held on March 16th at the Jackson Area Career Center.
The CEO Challenge is an exciting program offered by Junior Achievement of Jackson County, MI, specifically designed for high school students. This real-life learning experience focuses on developing entrepreneurial thinking and building essential leadership skills. Participating students learn to set goals, manage resources effectively, and present their ideas in a high-pressure environment similar to the popular TV show "Shark Tank."
The CEO Challenge is the perfect platform for students who thrive on risk-taking and enjoy being challenged in unique and engaging ways. It equips them with valuable skills that will benefit them throughout their academic and professional careers.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our sponsors for their generous support of the CEO Challenge: Alro Steel, The Hurst Foundation, Junior Achievement of the Michigan Edge, and America 1 Credit Union. Their contributions are essential to the success of this program and allow us to provide valuable learning experiences for our students.
The CEO Challenge is held annually from January to March. Students interested in participating next year are encouraged to contact Mrs. Watts for more information.
