NWCS Wins People’s Choice at Chili Classic!

Northwest Community Schools would like to thank everyone who attended the 2026 Chili Classic in downtown Jackson and helped Northwest win People’s Choice for both salsa and school chili!

The sixth annual K105.3 Fall Fest and Chili Classic saw a large turnout in downtown Jackson on Saturday (Sept. 26, 2026) and featured 25 teams of local businesses and school districts competing in the Chili Classic.

Northwest’s incredible team was led by Mr. Christopher Lama, Director of Food Service in the district. HUGE thanks as well to our food service partner, SFE, for their amazing work, and congratulations to the whole team for making the best chili and salsa!

We are proud to share this win with the Mountie Nation!

We are…Northwest!

Go Mounties!!
