NW: Community Resources for Families

Greetings Mountie Nation Families,
Recently, the USDA published a notice indicating that the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will be unable to issue benefits beginning November 1st if the federal government remains closed.
In light of this information, we want to ensure that all families are aware of the local resources available should you need food assistance in the coming weeks or months.
Each of our school buildings has resources available for families including food bags, clothing items, and contact information for community support organizations. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your building’s front office if you or someone you know is in need of assistance.
