Congratulations, Superintendent Geoff Bontrager! Jamie McKibben Community Enthusiast Awardee

Northwest Community Schools is proud to celebrate Superintendent Geoff Bontrager, the recipient of this year’s Jamie McKibben Community Enthusiast Award presented by the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce.

This honor recognizes individuals whose passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment strengthen the structure of Jackson, Michigan, and Superintendent Bontrager embodies all of that and more. His love for this community, his service-driven leadership, and his belief in the power of people continue to inspire Mountie Nation every single day.

In accepting the award, he shared a powerful reminder: “Being part of this community is the honor in and of itself… I know I’m just one enthusiast among many. That’s what makes Jackson such a great place.”

We are grateful for his leadership, his enthusiasm, and the way he uplifts those around him. Congratulations, Superintendent Geoff Bontrager!
