Mrs. Monica Shelton
I grew up in Michigan Center, MI and have lived in Michigan my whole life. I live with husband Corey (8th grade Science teacher at Michigan Center Schools) and our two sons (ages 12 and 14). I enjoy reading, walking, biking, playing games, watching my boys in all their various activities as well as spending time with friends and family.
My educational career brought me to NW Community Schools and has had me teaching 2nd grade, 3rd grade and School Counselor at the Early Elementary. I love working with students and their families to help guide them through life's trials to help them become successful in their everyday lives.
My time here at Northwest Early Elementary (previously Parnall Elementary) began August 2001. Since then I have tried to immerse myself in the lives of our awesome students. I love the students and staff here at Northwest Early Elementary and look forward to helping our students, teachers, and parents as much as I possibly can.

I am a Northwest alumni! Go Mounties! I love spending time with my husband and two kiddos. We love spending time outdoors and camping. I enjoy reading, running and I am a Zumba instructor.
I joined Mountie Nation in 2018. I love building relationships with students and their families. It is my goal to provide students access to the best educational experience by supporting each student, their family, their teachers, and their support team.
I love Northwest Early Elementary and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Mountie Nation.
