NWKMS Choir
The Northwest Kidder Middle School Choir, led by Mr. James Cummings, is a dynamic, student-focused program designed to develop strong vocal fundamentals and overall musicianship. Students work on key skills such as tone quality, pitch accuracy, rhythm, music literacy, and performing as a cohesive ensemble.
With an emphasis on both growth and confidence, the choir provides meaningful opportunities for students to learn, perform, and improve throughout the year. Through regular rehearsals, concerts, and group collaboration, students build discipline, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility while strengthening their individual vocal abilities.
As part of the Mountie Music program, the NWKMS Choir encourages students to explore their voices, take pride in their progress, and build a solid musical foundation that prepares them for future success in high school and beyond.
